Posted on July, 27 2016 by Action Canada

The Global challenges and opportunities for Canadian leadership on SRHR: a multi-stakeholder conversation[1] brought together over 40 senior stakeholders representing Canadian and international civil society organizations, government representatives, publically elected officials, activists, and the private sector.

The goals of the SRHR meeting were:

  • to develop a shared understanding of issues related to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), including global gaps in this area;
  • to explore options for a collective approach to Canada’s SRHR policy over the next five years; and
  • to build momentum for such an approach.
